I couldn't sleep so I thought I should start up our blog finally. Everything is going well here. Thing's have been very stressful and caotic since Barrett left 2 weeks ago for his JRTC. If you don't know what that is it's the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, LA, which basically everyone has to go to before they deploy. It's a test run for us I guess. It's been hard so far but I can adjust. We really miss him and we are looking forward to seeing him come home on the 28th!He is doing well and is keeping a positive attitude through all of this. Thank goodness someone needs to!
The kids are doing good. Nathan had his first dentist appointment last week. He did so good! And his teeth are very healthy, he got that from me lol! I also got Nathan registered for kindergarden and he is soo excited to start going and he can't wait to ride the bus! Nathan is always asking questions and it really bugs me lol! Sometimes I wish he would be quiet for once!
Brandon is busy all the time. I did get a referal to get him evaluated for his speech delays. I have noticed some single words that he says that are clear but the rest is babble. It's so frustrating for us both!! We probably won't get him in for another six month's or so, got the proccess started atleast. I'm hoping its just his hearing. He is very loving and loves to give kisses. Sometimes he hits on purpose so he can give kisses! It's so wrong but so cute!
Elizabeth is getting more girly everyday! She is finally growing some hair! Except if I try to do anything with it she pulls the hair clips out! Of course that is expected. She is our spoiled little girl and she knows it! She loves her babies and likes to push them in their little stroller.
Elizabeth and Brandon have learned how to get into the fridge and get out the cups of applesauce. They get into it by using a knife or scissors! I wish they would come ask me lol! I guess it's time for a lock on the fridge and the drawers!
New York is blah. It's been a cool summer I have been hearing from the locals. And I looked out the window and noticed the trees are starting to turn! It's August! It's so wierd! Summer is like 4 weeks and that's all you get around here, the other 11 are winter. I'm really looking forward to 3 feet of snow again lol! Atleast the humidity is bearable here. I do love the colors of fall! You don't get that all that much down in the deep south.
We'll I should get to bed I have to wake up early to keep the kids on their schedule. Hope everything is well with everyone and hope to hear fom you soon.
